Stoneygate Rugby Club is five
miles from the City centre.
By car, initially follow signs to
Peterborough (A47) from the city centre. Approaching from the city
centre or south, follow the ring road and signs for the A47. After four
miles from the city centre leave the A47 by taking a left hand fork
(into Scraptoft Lane) easily identified by the Shell petrol station.
Follow the signs for Scraptoft along Scraptoft Lane. At the top of the
hill the road turns a sharp right. You need to drive straight on down
Covert Lane and the club is a third of a mile on the left hand side.
From the north, the A607 / A563 link
road, which connects the A46 and the A47, is now open. When approaching
from the north, travellers should turn left onto the A563
(Peterborough) and continue south before turning left into Scraptoft
Lane, the first junction with a set of traffic lights after the Tesco's
roundabout. At the top of the hill the road turns a sharp right. You
need to drive straight on down Covert Lane and the club is a third of a
mile on the left hand side.
From the east, again use the A47, but
turn right off the A47 into Station Road, at the first set of traffic
lights in the village of Bushby. At the top of the hill there is a
sharp left bend but you want to take a right turn into Covert Lane and
the club is a third of a mile on the left hand side.
